Piceshanna tagged me for this meme, so figured I’d finally get around to doing it!
1. What is your current obsession? Current TV. My parents switched to AT&T cable, and this is basically the only channel I watch.
2. What is your weirdest obsession? This could also count as a current obsession, but… weddings. I have a couple magazines hidden in my room like they’re porn or something. It’s weird because (1) a couple weeks of officially dating someone doesn’t get me anywhere near marriage, and (2) I would rather not plan a big wedding anyway.
3. Recall a fond childhood memory? Catching tadpoles in the creek by my grandparents’ house 
4. What’s for dinner? I already ate, but it was hamburgers.
5. What would you eat for your last meal? Slow-roasted Turkey Breast meal from Bob Evans.
6. What’s the last thing you bought? Intangible: No clue. Tangible: more summer clothes for Anna.
7. What are you listening to right now? Random noises the house makes… I’m boring.
8. What do you think of the person who tagged you? I love Pisceshanna! I think she is an awesome person, and I’m always amazed that she’s able to deal with so much crap with Rooferman without completely losing her head.
9. If you could have a house totally paid for, fully furnished, anywhere in the world, where would it be? The Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Not sure exactly where, but I know it would be somewhere secluded and right on Lake Superior.
10. If you could go anywhere in the world for the next hour, where would you go? The pathetic side of me would say Ohio, because that’s where The Yooper is this weekend. But the side of me that is totally OK with him being gone says… Mississippi, just so I could spend some quality time with my best friend
11. Which language do you want to learn? French. Also, I’d like to brush up on my Spanish and become fluent.
12. What’s your favorite quote (for now)? This is definitely not an all-time favorite, but it’s a current one. This is a direct quote from a friend’s Facebook status: “Man said to God — Why did you make women so beautiful? God said to man — So that you will love them. Man said to God — But why did you make them so dumb? God said to man — So that they will love you.”
13.What is your favorite color? I honestly can’t decide. I like very bold pinks, but I also love green.
14. What is your favorite piece of clothing in your own wardrobe? The pearl snaps I bought in Texas the last time I was down there (for my best friend’s wedding). It looks sort of like this, only with long sleeves (and the pink is a bit darker).
15. What is your dream job? Freelance writer and editor (mostly editor)/English professor
16.What’s your favorite magazine? I used to read Glamour all the time, but now I have no clue what I like.
17. If you had $100 now, what would you spend it on? A dress. I don’t own many, and I’d love to have a new one for The Yooper’s cousin’s wedding in August (even though I don’t need a new one for that).
18. Describe your personal style? College student. Until it looks/smells dirty, it’s perfectly fine to wear it multiple days in a row.
19. What are you going to do after this? Finish up homework for this week and then probably go to bed
20.What are your favorite films? I hate this question because I can never choose just a few! I honestly love a majority of the movies I’ve seen. For now, I’ll go with Up, The Notebook, and Into the Wild (and out of those three, Into the Wild is definitely my favorite)
21. What’s your favorite fruit? Strawberries or raspberries.
22.What inspires you? All the possibilities for my future that are lying right in front of me. My life could be going in any one of countless directions after I graduate in December, and that inspires me to continually examine what I want out of life.
23. Your favorite books? I like too many books, but I’ll say Refuge by Terry Tempest Williams and 1984.
24. Do you collect anything? Not anymore. When I was really little, I was obsessed with horses and collected anything related to them. I also collected cow-themed stuff for a while. Right now, I’ve got nothing.
25. Any advice that’s come from bitter experience? 1) It doesn’t matter how much better sex feels without a condom — USE ONE — even when you’re too drunk to care. 2) Never ignore a man’s red flags hoping that he will change into the person you want him to become.
26. What makes you follow a blog? A personal connection to the blogger’s story, interesting/thought-provoking posts.
