When I originally started blogging as Momma Cum Laude (later changed to my more boring, neutral title), I had this big dream in my head. I was going to grow my blog into something that would be a resource for single student moms. I had been inspired by the stories of so many other single mom bloggers, and I wanted to add my unique voice to the group.
Somewhere along the way, I just turned blogging into a public journal, which is all fine and dandy… but I never took the time to steer back to blogging about the student mom side of my life.
And now I’m really sidetracked. I have so much I could write about and share with all of you, but when too much is going through my head, I just shut down and become unable to write anything. Oh, and then throw a boyfriend into the mix on top of my online summer classes, and I have no more energy to write about anything important (all I feel like doing is boasting about having an awesome boyfriend, which I’m sure gets really boring after a while).
Anyway, the point is… I still have those dreams of a kick ass blog/general website focused on being a single mom in school, and I’ll get there… one day. I really want to connect other college-aged moms, and I don’t want to throw it completely to the side just because a few extra things have been thrown into my life.
Momma Cum Laude will return! Soon, I hope 
P.S. I’m not saying that you won’t see any updates for a while. I’ll still blog about really irrelevant topics on occasion. I’m just saying that there’s potential for a short hiatus as I try to get everything together.
P.P.S. The Yooper has also been learning web design on the side — something he’s always wanted to do, but he decided to go the political science route in college instead. Maybe he can lend a hand in my awesome site that will one day exist?

I think that sounds like a great idea! I’m a single mom in school too, it would be great to have a place for people like us to talk, give support and find one another. Being a single mom in college is a whole other breed of single mama with its own challenges.
And summer classes are a bitch, I haven’t had time to write much of anything myself.

Yess!!! The return of Momma Cum Laude! Maybe you and Erin could start a forum like Ms Single Mama did? Or create a group on her forum for single moms in school? maybe Yooper could help you? Either way, I’m stoked!

I think it’s a great idea. I’d love to help out in any way possible (I’d definitely be up for guest blogging). Hanna had some great ideas. Seriously let me know if I can do anything!

I like the idea of doing a single mom in college thing. If you are up for collaborating, let me know. Email me! I’d love to do a guest blog as well, once summer classes die down a little bit (you know how THAT goes!)
